Action/Adventure announce new album Ever After
Chicago pop-punk outfit Action/Adventure have announced their brand new full-length album Ever After, out Friday 24 October 2025 via Pure Noise Records. The band’s most ambitious project to date, the record is set to delve into emotional duality, personal identity, and the challenges of balancing art with everyday life.
The announcement arrives alongside the release of new single URL, accompanied by a cinematic music video. The track deals with themes of unrequited effort and unrealised dreams. As vocalist Blake Evaristo explains, “This is the result of unrequited love. Just because you put your blood, sweat, and tears into something doesn’t mean it’ll love you back… Even though you’re living the life you wanted, you find yourself wondering what the other life could’ve been,” said vocalist Blake Evaristo.
Guitarist Oren Trace added, “The stark reality of living your dreams. The shifting goal post of a fulfilling life. The internal conflict of having people who support you but also depend on you. You are fighting to stay awake when everything is quiet so you can open yourself up and dig for spare parts to share with the outside world.”
Produced by Alan Day (Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck) at Ghost Hit Studio, the record promises to expand on the band’s melodic core with storytelling, vulnerability, and collaborations. Guest appearances include Dan Lambton (rationale., ex-Real Friends), Armor For Sleep’s Ben Jorgensen, and UK alt-artist Noahfinnce.
