We’re currently looking for contributors to write reviews of new music (singles, EPs and albums).  Think this is something you’d excel in?  Reach out to us.

We’re looking for contributors who are keen to gain experience of writing for a music and live events publication – it’s ideally suited for anybody looking to enter into the music or journalism industry.

Here’s what you need to know:

We are not a single genre publication so the music style could be anything from indie to Afrobeats; pop to jazz.  It could be a Manchester artist or somebody based thousands of miles away.  It could be a household name or an up-and-comer.

AI?  Erm, no thanks.  All music reviews must be written without the aid of AI.  We’re looking for real people’s opinions with some nuance.

This is a voluntary position.  We’re not a money making publication (believe us, we’re seriously not!).  We’re all in this for the love of Manchester, the love of music and the love of live events.  You’re not tied in to a certain number of articles per week, but if you say you’ll do a particular review it generally needs to be done sharpish.

At the moment, we’re not specifically looking for live music reviewers or photographers, but feel free to get in touch with us if you want us to keep you in mind for the future.

Want to go ahead?  Fill in this form and let’s see what happens.
