The UK’s most successful ever live act, Take That, have announced a UK tour to take place in 2015 which will find them performing at Manchester Arena for five nights on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th May 2015.

The (now) trio of Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald will be going on the 24-date tour which starts in Glasgow on 28th April before moving to Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield with a five night finale at London’s O2 Arena.

The announcement comes just weeks before Take That’s next studio album III is released (1st December) and in anticipation of their single These Days (released 23rd November).  They will hoping to add to their incredible eight Number One albums and 15 Number One singles in a career which has witnessed over 30 million album sales, six Ivor Novellos, eight BRIT awards and more than seven million concert tickets being sold.

The news will come to the delight of the group’s legions of fans who have been longing for the return of the superstars to the live arena, having been wowed by their previous spectaculars  which have witnessed aerialists, circus performs, holograms, a 60ft robot, giant elephants and a wall of water.

Speaking of the news of the eight city tour, Take That commented, “We’ve always been very proud of our live shows and are very excited to be touring again next year.  Playing live is something we love the most about what we do and we’re looking forward to putting on the most amazing show we can.  It will have been four years since our last tour so we’re really keen to get back out on the road to play some of our biggest songs from the last twenty years alongside our new ones.  We hope to see you there!”

It has also been announced that rising star Ella Henderson will be the special guest for the duration of the tour in a further boost for the singer who has recently celebrated her debut single Glow and her first album Chapter One reaching the No. 1 spot in the UK Charts.

Tickets for Take That at the Manchester Arena on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th May 2015 go on sale at 9am on Thursday 13th November.
