Sea Girls have announced a UK tour including Manchester gig at the O2 Victoria Warehouse as they release new single Lonely.

The tour announcement marks the band’s biggest headline shows to date with seven huge shows across the UK.

Lonely is taken from the band’s upcoming album Homesick which is due out on 25 March.

Sea Girls will be celebrating the release of Homesick with a string of Record Store Shows including Manchester’s Gorilla (3 May) and Liverpool Arts Club (4 May).

Lonely is accompanied by a video shot on the beaches of Morecambe and starring JoJo Macari of Netflix’s Sex Education and The Irregulars.  The video, directed by James Slater, is filled with nostalgia, following the journey of singer Henry Camamile and an unrequited love, Lara.

Speaking about the track Henry explains, “It was written the day Ennio Morricone died, so was initially in honour of him, a nod to the good, the bad and the ugly – hence the whistle and the line ‘OK Corral’.  It’s about the best friend I probably should have gone out with, but never did. We both moved on and the band happened and life got in the way for the both of us.”
