After releasing their 7-track EP House With A Pool Californian four-piece Russo have announced two Manchester gigs, supporting Gomez at the O2 Ritz and Black Honey at Manchester Academy 2.
The band are also set to perform at Reading and Leeds Festival on the BBC Introducing Stage.
Russo are on an impressive rise in 2018. A blend of ska-pop and rock, their high-energy live performances have drawn comparisons with No Doubt, Garbage and Blondie.
Formed earlier this year in Los Angeles, Russo consists of singer/songwriter Cailin Russo (vocals), Tyler McCarthy (guitar), Hayley Brownell (drums and backing vocals) and Sean Ritchie (bass).
When do Russo perform in Manchester?
Russo are set to perform two Manchester shows. The band will support Gomez at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Sunday 2 September. Russo will also support Black Honey, who recently revealed their latest single Midnight, at their Manchester Academy 2 show on Sunday 21 October.
