Katy For Kings is back with new single Hard On Myself, as she continues her streak of excellent releases.

The artist follows up on recent tracks including Middle Ground and Impersonator as she blends single-songwriter tradition with pop.

The track marks a personal reminder to herself that self-appreciation and self-forgiveness go a long way whilst coping with vulnerabilities.  As she explains, “Hard on Myself is an open letter to anyone who’s struggling with self-confidence or establishing their identity.  It’s also become very apparent to me over the last year that I don’t like feeling like I have to fit into a box to attract or please people.  Hard on Myself is me coming to terms with that.”

The single is the latest in a string of collaborations with co-writer Chris Bourne and producer John Fields and lands ahead of her 21st birthday tomorrow.
