Christine and the Queens has announced three UK dates for November which include her first ever show in Manchester.

The announcement comes ahead of her performance at this weekend’s Latitude Festival and as her debut album Chaleur Humaine spends its third week in the UK Top 10.

Christine and the Queens (aka Héloïse Letissier) moved to London to study from Nantes, but instead found herself drawn to the arts and theatre world in Soho, where she met the drag queens of Madame JoJo’s who inadvertently helped birth Christine and the Queens.  Chaleur Humaine turned seven-times platinum in her native France before its UK release in February and following performances on the Graham Norton Show and at Glastonbury climbed in to the UK top 10.
