After a hugely successful initial run last Christmas, Winter Wonderland Manchester, the UK’s largest indoor Christmas theme park, reopens its doors to the general public next Saturday 13th December at EventCity next to the Intu Trafford Centre.

Presented by Kingpin Events, Winder Wonderland will be filled with over 40 family friendly rides and attractions including many children and family rides, which are included in the entry price.  The event also features other activities such as ‘Izzy, wizzy, let’s get busy’ alongside The Sooty Show as Sooty, Sweep and Soo make their return to Winder Wonderland for live appearances.  In fact ITV star Sooty seems thrilled, commenting “I loved last year’s Winter Wonderland so much I couldn’t wait to come back with Sweep and Soo!  Soo loves all the rides, Sweep can’t wait to meet Santa again – and I can’t wait to meet all my fans – and maybe squirt the mums and dads with my water pistol!”.

Winter Wonderland also features a Christmas Circus, with seating for over 700 and a number of performances throughout the sessions, whilst performers such as stilt walkers, Christmas fairies and fairy-tale characters will also roam the themepark.

Santa will also be available up to and including the 24th December, before he dashes off to deliver the presents.

Winter Wonderland has invited charities to be the first through the doors to experience the event, with 1,500 tickets worth a total of almost £30,000 donated to charities whose work specifically benefits children and their families, disadvantaged young people and bereaved families.

Tammy Silcock of Kingpin Events, added “We are delighted to be returning with Winter Wonderland to EventCity after the huge success of our first event last year. This year we aim to be bigger and better and provide a fun-filled day out for families, whatever the weather. This is entertainment on a huge scale with lots of rides and attractions, The Sooty Show, A Christmas Circus and even a chance to meet Santa Claus. Last year’s charity evening proved a huge success and was very humbling for everyone involved. It was very special and our guests thoroughly enjoyed being the first visitors to enjoy the Winter Wonderland experience.”

Winder Wonderland at EventCity runs from Saturday 13th December 2014 until Sunday 4th January 2015.
