Take a step back in time this Easter Sunday as the 1950’s inspired Vintage Swing Festival comes to The Printworks, Manchester … and it’s free!

The Vintage Swing Festival will host live performances all day from the likes of Mons Wheeler & Tone Kings and Emma & The Ragmen, travelling down from Ireland and Scotland for the occasion.

The family event is now in its 16th year and runs on Sunday 21 April from 12pm-5pm.  The festival attracts more than 30,000 people each year to The Printworks.

For the kids, there’s face painting and a chocolate-packed Easter egg hunt, while the adults can indulge in all things 50’s, whether it’s admiring the collection of classic cars, exploring an array of retro-style food and drink, or shopping the vintage stalls, which will feature 1950’s inspired clothes and souvenirs.

There’ll also be free swing dance lessons from the professionals at Katz Korner, so you can brush up on your dance skills and jitter and jive the day away.  Venues within The Printworks, such as Treetop Adventure Golf, Escape Reality and Tiger Tiger will also be offering food and drink deals and activities throughout the day to spread even more joy throughout Easter Sunday.

And after the festival is finished, Bierkeller will be hosting an after party featuring Mad Jack and the Hatters and The Bopsville Shakers.
