The Wonder Years announce 2026 UK headline tour with Manchester Albert Hall gig
US group bring Burst & Decay series and new track Junebug to UK fans
The Wonder Years have announced a UK headline tour for January 2026, including a major Manchester gig at the Albert Hall. The tour also includes stops in Bristol, Glasgow and London.
Formed in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, the six-piece band are known for their emotionally raw punk-inflected sound and consistent creative evolution. Their 2022 album The Hum Goes on Forever captured the emotional toll of isolation and uncertainty during the pandemic — a record described as a revealing portrait of the band’s shared experience.
Earlier this year, The Wonder Years returned with Burst & Decay (Volume III), the third instalment in their acclaimed acoustic rework series. The album includes the track Junebug, produced by Steve Evetts (Saves the Day), alongside reimagined versions of fan favourites like Came Out Swinging and I Don’t Know Who I Was Then. Featuring special guest appearances, the release continues their tradition of reshaping past work into stripped-back, emotionally resonant versions.
