One of the great live bands, Simple Minds, has announced a UK tour which will see them performing at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on Friday 10th April 2015.

The tour comes just a few months after the band releases their latest album, Big Music, their first album of new material in five years (set for release on 3rd November).  Big Music is set to be Simple Minds’ 16th album and on the same date they will also be releasing their first single from the album, Honest Town, a travelogue through Jim Kerr’s childhood on Glasgow’s South Side.

The tour will see Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill joined by Mel Gaynor, Andy Gillespie, Ged Grimes, Sarah Brown and Catherine AD.
