Manchester’s Seed & Cherry, the new artisan coffee shop in the Northern Quarter, is launching a brand new acoustic night.  The speciality coffee shop will host a range of up and coming local talent from 6pm until 8pm every third Thursday of the month.

The first acoustic sessions evening at Seed & Cherry is on Thursday 19 September.

Opening the first of their acoustic sessions will be country music artist Finola.  The artist, who recently performed at the new country music night The Company We Keep, moved to Manchester in 2014, later releasing her debut EP Waterworks.

Also on the bill is Bolton’s Tom Van Wren, providing a unique twist on classic covers from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra and Bon Iver.

Seed & Cherry is the first coffee shop of its kind in Manchester, with its concept designed to showcase the depth and personality each coffee bean has to offer. Customers can explore multiple types of beans and a variety of flavour profiles to find the perfect brew for them.

Customers can enjoy Seed & Cherry’s five different type beans on offer whilst relaxing into the evening. The speciality grade beans have been flown from destinations including Colombia, Rwanda, Brazil and Kenya, and ethically grown and processed with part of the proceeds going to support projects in local communities.

Alongside enjoying the live music and coffees, city-dwellers can choose from a selection of light bites including halloumi skewers with coriander chutney, roasted cumin hummus and flatbread, sweet potato fries served with spicy romesco sauce and truffle fries coated with parmesan. All light bites are vegetarian or vegan friendly but if you prefer something sweeter, choose from a selection of baked cakes and pastries.
