Legendary actor Sir Roger Moore is to appear at Manchester Opera House as part of a series of ‘Evening With’ dates in the UK.

The Bond star, who is celebrating 70 years in show business this year is set to join biographer Gareth Owen in discussing his extraordinary life and career which will find the Hollywood legend revealing inside stories and anecdotes from his astonishing career which also included the hit TV series The Saint and The Persuaders.

Audience members will also have a unique opportunity to put their own question to Sir Roger Moore at the show.

Roger says of his visit to Manchester “In 2002 I stepped out onto the turf at Old Trafford to join Sir Alex Ferguson in support of a UNICEF match between United and Boca Juniors. To witness sixty thousand supporters gather in the stands and applaud was something I’ll never forget, and I’m ever hopeful the crowds at the Opera House will be similarly kind to me walking out on stage!”

An evening with Sir Roger Moore takes place at Manchester Opera House on Monday 9 November 2015.
