Megan McKenna is set to release her new single This, some time after fans first fell in love with the track.
The single marks a new deal with frtyfve records.

Fans of Megan McKenna know the song through her performance of This on The X Factor: Celebrity as she performed it on the final shortly before winning the competition.
Since winning the competition, Megan says that she has been asked everyday on social media when she will release it. Now, inspired by fans’ love for the song, she has unveiled the official version of the track, saying how it perfectly encapsulates the journey she has been on.
“I’ve had so many knock backs which have made me who I am today” she explains. “Some people might have given up, but it gave me more fire inside and more determination. It’s been a struggle, but I’ve come out stronger and that’s what ‘This’ is about.
“What I love about the song is that it can have so many different meanings. For some people it might be about love, happiness, family or friendships. It can be about overcoming any of life’s struggles.”
Megan McKenna spent much of 2020 writing with the likes of Toby Gad, Mozella and Amy Wadge to create a collection of material which she hopes will push her to new heights in 2021.
