Tonight Alive have announced a Manchester gig at the O2 Ritz to follow the release of their new studio album Underworld, which will be released on 21 January.

The band’s new single Temple debuted just a few days back and in the aftermath, Tonight Alive have revealed details of the album and UK, US and European shows.

This will be the band’s first album since signing to Hopeless Records earlier this year.  The now four piece (follow the departure of guitarist and writer Whakaio Taahi) have also revealed the video for Temple, which was born out of a time when singer Jenna McDougall was experiencing depression and fatigue.

For the writing of the album, McDougall, dipped into feelings that she had repressing, using them as a source of inspiration and a driving force when creating the album, commenting, “The album is called Underworld and I named it that because it reflects the ugly parts of me that I wasn’t ready to see until now.”
