Kingfishr announce Manchester Academy gig for 2026 UK and Ireland tour
Kingfishr extend UK plans with Manchester Academy show
Kingfishr will headline Manchester Academy on Saturday 23 May 2026, marking their biggest Manchester show to date. The announcement comes after their debut album Halcyon entered the UK Top 10 and claimed the #1 spot in Ireland.
The trio are rapidly scaling up venues. Last year they played Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre; next summer, they will headline to 20,000 fans at St. Anne’s Park in Dublin and play arena-sized venues in Belfast and Cork, alongside major city dates in Cardiff, London and Glasgow.
The newly announced Manchester gig builds on their packed 2025 schedule. The band headline Manchester’s Albert Hall on Friday 26 November as part of their Halcyon tour — a show now sold out. Earlier in the autumn, they will also perform an acoustic set at Liverpool’s Jacaranda on Tuesday 2 September as part of their stripped-back Halcyon acoustic tour.
Singles Killeagh and Diamonds & Roses continue to dominate the Irish charts, while Halcyon has cemented their status as one of the most exciting new acts to emerge from Ireland in recent years.
