Off the back of revealing his new track and video for Did You See, J Hus has announced a string of UK dates including a gig at Manchester’s Albert Hall.
Nominated for Best Newcomer at The MOBO Awards in 2015, and included on the long-list for the 2016 BBC Sound Poll, Hus is back and ready to make his mark. His ‘The 15th Day’ mixtape, which dropped back in 2015 alongside smash single ‘Lean & Bop’, highlights his ebullient blend of Dancehall, Afrobeat, Grime and R&B, winning acclaim from The Guardian, Fader, Noisey, Complex and i-D, and clocking over a million plays in its first month. Securing a deal with Black Butter, known as the incubator of talent of everyone from Rudimental to Jess Glynne and MNEK, Hus ended 2015 featuring on Tinie Tempah’s Junk Food mixtape. He graced Katy B’s album last year as well as making a guest appearance on the BrOTHERHOOD movie soundtrack. To kick things off in 2017, Hus has featured on Dave’s single ‘Samantha’, on ‘High Roller’ the lead single from Nines’ debut album and on Stormzy’s recent debut album (Gang Signs & Prayer) on the track ‘Bad Boys’ alongside Ghetts.
