Returning to Manchester following sold out Gorilla dates
After selling out two dates at Manchester’s Gorilla last year, American Football are returning to Manchester on a new tour.
The legendary band will perform one of four special autumn shows at Manchester’s Albert Hall.
The new dates come in support of the band’s second self-titled album, which arrived 17 years after their indie-rock debut.
When American Football announced in 2014 that they would play live for the first time in 15 years, the built up appreciation for their eponymous debut album physically manifested itself as they sold out three nights at Webster Hall in New York City in a matter of hours, and then went on to do the same at venues around the world.
The full tour listing:
1 September – Brighton, Concorde 2
2 September – Manchester, Albert Hall
3 September – Edinburgh, Summerhall
4 September – Dublin, Button Factory
