Infinite Coles announces debut album SweetFace Killah

Infinite Coles confronts legacy and identity on debut album SweetFace Killah

Infinite Coles has announced the release of SweetFace Killah, his long-anticipated debut album, landing in December. The 12-track record is produced by Zach Witness, whose past collaborators include Frank Ocean, Doechii, and Erykah Badu.

Coinciding with the announcement, Coles has shared a double single — SweetFaceKillah and Dad & I — both centred on his strained relationship with his father, Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan. The tracks follow earlier singles BGM and Boots Ballroom Cnt Mix* featuring Maleigh Zan and Julz, continuing a bold sonic journey grounded in ballroom culture, personal trauma, and reclamation.

The confrontational SweetFaceKillah sees Infinite flip a homophobic online slur into a proud, defiant R&B-house banger. In the track, he addresses his father directly, with biting lyricism and emotionally raw vocals. The accompanying video — directed by close friend and frequent collaborator Ugly Worldwide — adopts a ‘film noir’ aesthetic, featuring stylised voguing and a surreal talking-head visual motif.

Meanwhile, Dad & I delivers a heartfelt sonic letter to his father in a style rooted in 90s hip-hop soul. Over emotionally raw production, Infinite sings: “Dad and I don’t see eye to eye… Can you love me now. Do you love me now. Can you show me to the crowd. Prove that I’m allowed.” Its forthcoming video, also directed by Ugly Worldwide, portrays Coles and a shadowy father figure seated apart, evoking distance and unspoken pain.

Across SweetFace Killah, Infinite Coles is expected to weave his personal journey — growing up queer in a rap dynasty, processing grief, finding empowerment in ballroom culture — into a genre-blending project that combines dancefloor anthems, piano ballads, and afro-house celebration. Highlights include DMs, Shoot, Mama Song, Thankful, and Body Strong.

Speaking about the project, Infinite Coles said, I am proud and excited to announce my debut album.  It is the culmination of my journey and I can’t wait to share it with the world. The track ‘SweetFaceKillah’ is an alter ego, it’s me just talking my ish and not being afraid to say the things that I wanna say. I always wanted to rap and always did it as a joke with my friends, but I was always afraid. SweetFace Killah’ came from the trolls online making fun of me because of my dad. At first, I was depressed and embarrassed, but I took the name and made it mean something more than what they were using it for. Now I’m owning it, because honestly it’s FABBBB, like they ate that!!! ‘Dad & I’ is a message to my father. It’s saying that even though I’m angry and hurt … I forgive you and I love you. I want to thank all my incredible collaborators Zach Witness, Robot Moonjuice, Ugly Worldwide, so many to name, but you know who you are. I love you, family.”
