Following the release of their self-titled debut album, Nothing But Thieves are set to perform at Manchester’s Academy 3 on the opening night of a 13-date run of shows.

Nothing But Thieves entered 2015 as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands, buoyed by 2015 tips from iTunes, Spotify and XFM among others, support slots with the likes of Twin Atlantic and a stand-out live performance at one of this year’s NME Awards shows. Their summer has included multiple festival dates worldwide and a stint supporting Young Guns, as well as the support slot on Muse’s Rock In Roma show where they played to a stadium filled with over 30,000 fans.

The group, Conor Mason (vocals), Joe Langridge-Brown (guitars), Dom Craik (guitars), Philip Blake (bass) and James Price (drums) draw inspiration from the likes of Muse, Kasabian and Arcade Fire. Nothing But Thieves’ features singles ‘Trip Switch’, ‘Ban All The Music’ and ‘Graveyard Whistling’.  With recent releases off the album gaining multiple playlist additions across XFM, Kerrang! and Radio 1 – where the band also bagged Hottest Record In The World and Track Of The Day accolades – things have really moved up a gear from their early days writing in Guitarist Dom Craik’s Southend garage.  Recorded between Angelic Studios, Little Drummer Boy and Hits & Arts Studios and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Maccabees,U2, Florence & The Machine, Thirty Seconds To Mars) and Adam Noble (Placebo, Don Broco, Kids In Glass Houses), the album will undoubtedly take the band to the next level.

Nothing But Thieves perform at Manchester Academy 3 on 22 October 2015.
