The singer and songwriter who releases her Living The Dream deluxe edition of breakthrough album The Dream in February, appeared on the latest installment yesterday. During the appearance she performed stripped-down acoustic versions of songs from the albums.
Speaking about the transforming the songs for the CMT Campfire Sessions, Whitters said, “One of my favorite things to do is sit around a campfire in my backyard with friends and guitars and play music together. I’m glad CMT was willing to capture these songs in their natural element.”
Living The Dream saw Hailey Whitters calling on close friends and collaborators Brent Cobb, Jordan Davis, Hillary Lindsey, Little Big Town, Lori McKenna and Trisha Yearwood to contribute vocals to the fresh tracks.
