Franz Ferdinand have announced a series of dates to follow the release of their new album Always Ascending including a Manchester gig at the Albert Hall.

Always Ascending the new album from Franz Ferdinand, is being released by Domino on Friday 9 February.  The album was recorded at RAK Studios, London and Motorbass in Paris, with the assistance of French producer Philippe Zdar.

Following the release of Always Ascending, Franz Ferdinand will head out on a 12-date tour of the UK and Ireland before a run of dates in Europe and North America.
