Tucson, Arizona, based rockers Calexico have announced a run of UK dates which will see them performing at Manchester’s Albert Hall on 30th April 2015.

The announcement has come as the band enters the final stages of recording and mixing a new album which has seen Joey Burns and John Convertino decamp to Mexico City to write before returning to Wavelab Studios in Tucson to record with their long time collaborators, Craig Schumacher and Chris Schultz.  The new album is also set to feature a number of guest musicians joining them.

With influences which range from latin to south-west US country music and 50s-60s jazz to 90s-00s rock, Calexico have released an impressive eight studio albums as well as a series of live albums.
