Ace Enders shares new single Wide Awake ahead of October album

A raw new track from Posture Syndrome

Ace Enders has returned with new solo material in the form of Wide Awake, an introspective single that explores moments of mental strain giving way to clarity. The track appears on his forthcoming solo album Posture Syndrome, out in October via Pure Noise Records.

Speaking about Wide Awake, Ace Enders said: “This song begins with sleepless nights—lying awake, restless, and anxious. I started to drink a lot heavier at this point in my life, not proud of it, but I guess needed it to write this.

“The lyric replacing windows with bars pretty much sums it up. That’s also the turning point, and as it unfolds, it shifts. Slowly, the darkness makes way for light, and the anxiety becomes anticipation. By the end, it’s no longer about being trapped by thoughts but about waking up wide awake with something to look forward to.”

The album Posture Syndrome will include 15 tracks, with titles such as Dark Weather, Strings of Light and Term Life. The release follows over two decades of solo and band work from Enders, including his time fronting The Early November and the solo project I Can Make A Mess.

Posture Syndrome is available for pre-order and pre-save now via Pure Noise Records.
