Free beer!  Yes, that’s right, The Lamb of Tartary will be celebrating its opening with free beer!

The new Northern Quarter venue will open in Manchester tomorrow with 100 free pints from their supplier Heineken up for grabs from 5pm.

The venue opens on the former Cottonopolis site on Newton Street courtesy of the team behind the award-winning Edinburgh Castle pub in Ancoats.

The Lamb of Tartary will offer a menu featuring small plates including Atlantic prawn cocktail and melba toast; Burrata, crown prince pumpkin and green sauce; and meat and fish dishes fresh from the grill, including Otterburn Farm Pork available in Bacon Collar and Loin Chop cuts as well as Cornish Lobster with Hollandaise.

The bar will also serve a range of cocktails and 24 different beers on tap including Manchester Union Lager and Cask Beer from Buxton Brewery and Mobberley Brewhouse.

The Lamb of Tartary officially opens the doors from 12pm, with free pints available for the first 100 through the door from 5pm.

The Lamb of Tartary’s kitchen will be open from Wednesday – Sunday from 12PM and the bar will be open from 3PM on Monday & Tuesday, then from 12PM from Wednesday – Sunday.
