Charli XCX has released her new track Von dutch, the first single from her upcoming album BRAT.
Von dutch is produced by EASYFUN and features a synth heavy return from Charli XCX, hinting at what the album is to hold. The track is also accompanied by a video filmed at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport, directed by Torso.
BRAT will be Charli XCX’s sixth studio album, following 2022’s number one hit CRASH.
The new single and news of the album comes as Charli XCX continues to work on multiple film and TV projects following the success of Speed Drive which featured on the Barbie soundtrack. She is co-executive producing the score for the film Mother Mary with Jack Antonoff and producing original music for Benito Skinner’s series Overcompensating on Prime Video. Charlie XCX will also star in a remake of the 1978 cult horror film Faces of Death.
