St. Vincent, aka the tripled-GRAMMY-winning Annie Clark, will release her new studio album All Born Screaming in April.
The album will mark her seventh full-length release, landing on 26 April.
St. Vincent has produced the album herself to ensure that the sounds originating in her hear and heart were translated accurately and fully on to tape.
“There are some places, emotionally, that you can only get to by taking the long walk into the woods alone—to find out what your heart is really saying,” Clark says. “It sounds real because it is real.”
St. Vincent brought All Born Screaming to life with a line-up of friends including Rachel Eckroth, Josh Freese, Dave Grohl, Mark Guiliana, Cate Le Bon, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Stella Mogzawa and David Ralicke.
The first taste of All Born Screaming has landed in the form of St. Vincent’s new track Broken Man. It is accompanied by a video shot in Philadelphia in mid-January by Alex Da Corte.
