The Libertines have announced a huge UK and Ireland tour including a Manchester gig at the Albert Hall.  They will also headline a Liverpool gig at Mountford Hall.

The Manchester and Liverpool gigs are two of 16 dates they have announced.  The tour opens on 23 September at Dublin’s 3 Olympia and also includes TWO gigs at London’s Roundhouse before culminating in a huge show at Manchester’s Albert Hall.

The tour announcement comes as The Libertines prepare to release their new album All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade on 29 May.

All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade features The Libertines’ already released singles Run, Run Run; Night of the Hunter; and Shiver.
