The K’s have shared their new single and video Heart On My Sleeve ahead of a Manchester gig at Manchester Academy.

The band have two further Manchester gigs lined up at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in April and then as part of Blossoms’ Big Bank Holiday Weekend at Wythenshawe Park in August.

New single Heart On My Sleeve is set to feature on upcoming debut album I Wonder If The World Knows.  The K’s will release I Wonder If The World Knows on 22 March 2024.

The K’s announce Manchester Victoria Warehouse gig

Speaking about the album frontman Jamie Boyle said, “The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally on the brink of releasing our debut album. I Wonder If The World Knows is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives throughout the ups, the downs and everything in between. We’ve put our heart and soul into making the perfect record and we can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The single itself marks an indie-rock taste of the upcoming 12-track album.  It takes on self-destruction, distraction, and insecurity in an open and relatable fashion.  As Jamie Boyle added, “Heart On My Sleeve is a reflection of my tendency to self-destruct or push people away whenever I have any feelings of insecurity or vulnerability, and how I hide behind a persona to try and distract from the fact that I feel this way. It’s the most honest song I’ve written to date, and I think most people will be able to relate to the honesty and the feelings that inspired it.”

The K’s will release I Wonder If The World Knows through Manchester indie imprint LAB Records.
