The Bees have announced their first live dates in over 10 years – opening with a Manchester gig at Gorilla.
The Manchester gig is one of four UK dates The Bees have announced. They will also headline full band shows in London, Leeds and Brighton.
The announcement follows the success of the re-issue of their debut album Sunshine Hit Me.
Hailing from the Isle of Wight, The Bees were formed by duo and multi-instrumentalists Paul Butler and Aaron Fletcher. The psychedelic duo recorded their debut album Sunshine Hit Me over 20 years ago from Butler’s backyard home studio. The album scooped The Bees critical acclaim and a Mercury nomination.
The re-issue includes The Bees’ celebrated tracks No Trophy and Punchbag as well as the previously unreleased single Seeds.

Tickets for The Bees’ UK tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 24 November.
