The Hanging Stars will release their new album On A Golden Shore this Friday ahead of a run of UK tour dates.
The tour includes a Manchester gig at The Yard and Liverpool gig at St Michael in the Hamlet Church.
On A Golden Shore marks The Hanging Stars’ fifth album. A taste of the album landed in the form of recent single Sweet Light, complete with pedal steel The track was accompanied by a video inspired by dramas of the 60s.
The Hanging Stars recorded the album at Clashnarrow Studios with production from Sean Read. The basis for the album was put together in just eight days, mostly recorded live.
The new album is a follow up to Hollow Heart which landed The Hanging Stars the Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award at 2022’s Americana Music Association UK Awards.
