Status Quo have announced an 11-date tour for November and December 2015, with their Accept No Substitute tour. The run of dates will find the band returning to their fully electric set up following the huge success of their Aquostic (Stripped Bare) tour and live album and performing at Manchester’s Palace Theatre on 29 November.
Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Leon Cave will plug back in and bring their thunderous electric live show, and countless hits, back to the nation’s venues.
Francis Rossi said, “We’ve had such a blast with the ‘Aquostic’ style, but for this tour we are going back to the sound that defines us. I read in the paper that we were breaking up; but we’re not finished yet I can tell you!” Rick Parfitt added, “I guess the name of the tour speaks for itself, but this is full-throttle no-nonsense Status Quo”.
