Sam Olyott has opened the next chapter of his career with the release of his debut EP1. The EP lands as he shares his latest single What My Mother Said.
EP1 builds on the growth his career has since which has taken him from busking in Liverpool to becoming a viral sensation and drawing media praise.
New single What My Mother Said takes a slightly different tone to previous releases Cold Toast, On Your Own and Never Be You. The track embraces his childhood memories in a tribute to his mother.
As he explains, “What My Mother Said is a song that has moved me from day one.. The writing process was so emotional and the song came together in such an organic way! I’m really proud of this one. It fits the vibe of this EP to a T! I think you’ll love it :)”
The new tracks on the EP find Sam Olyott imagining his own future including a love letter in song to his ‘Dear Future Wife‘, posing the questions who is she, where is she now, how will they meet.
