Placebo have announced an 18 date tour of the UK and Ireland which will see them performing at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on 12th March 2015.
This marks the most extensive run of shows for the band in the UK and Ireland since 2006. The announcement has come as the band is currently on the road in the US touring with their 7th studio album Loud Like Love, an album which has been received with critical and commercial praise.
The tour marks just one event in what they have promised will be an exciting series of releases and events ahead of their 20th anniversary in 2016. In that near twenty year period the band has racked up an impressive one million album sales in the UK with the worldwide figure hitting an astonishing 12 million.
