No Hot Ashes are set to release their long awaited debut album Hardship Starship ahead of a UK tour including a huge Manchester gig at the O2 Ritz.

The Stockport band have been making waves around the UK for the last few years, picking up local and national support from the likes of Radio X, BBC6 Music and scoring support slots with The Amazons and Spring King amongst others.

No Hot Ashes will now release Hardship Starship this August ahead of a huge run of UK tour dates including Manchester’s O2 Ritz.

The band recently released the second single from the album Extra Terrestrial, commenting, “Extra Terrestrial Is a song about relationships and knowing someone better than you know yourself. The constant fat bass lines matched with shouty choruses implore you to move. We were trying for something catchy with this one.”

Hardship Starship was produced by Chris Taylor (The Coral, Everything Everything, Ian Brown,  Bill Ryder Jones) at Parr Street studios in Liverpool whom the band met in early 2018 whilst  in the thick of demos and writing for the upcoming debut album, they formed an instant connection with Chris which can be felt throughout the whole record. It will be released on Modern Sky UK on 16th August 2019.
