Neighbourhood Weekender has been confirmed for May 2023 with the first wave of artists now confirmed.
News of Pulp’s performance at Neighbourhood Festival comes as they confirm their ‘What we do for an encore’ UK tour. Speaking about hitting the road, Jarvis Cocker said, “Three months ago, we asked, What exactly do you do for an encore? Well… An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage. So… We are playing in the UK and Ireland in 2023. Therefore… Come along & make some noise. See you there.”
After a second consecutive UK number one album, legendary duo Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott will return to Victoria Park to close out the main stage on Saturday night. As members of The Beautiful South they topped the album charts on three occasions and, earlier this year, Paul Heaton was honoured at the prestigious Ivor Awards for his ‘Outstanding Song Collection’.
The Kooks will also perform on the main stage. The quadruple-platinum selling BRIT Award nominees blasted on to the scene with their iconic debut studio album Inside In/Inside Out.
Other artists confirmed for the festival include The Wombats, Everything Everything, The Big Moon, Anne-Marie, Ella Henderson, Self Esteem and Confidence Man who will headline at Manchester’s New Century Hall on 11 November 2022.
