Manchester band Hayes & Y, a rare blend of Bulgarian and Finnish musicians based in the city, have released their new EP Safeplace.
Over the last few years, they have taken inspiration from the incredible Manchester music scene, blending these new found influences in to their own sound.
New EP Safeplace builds on the band’s previous efforts incorporating an 80’s inspire dance vibe.
With a firm DIY approach, Hayes & Y recorded and produced the EP in their shared apartment.
Title track Safeplace tells the story of estrangement and social struggle and has been accompanied by a black and white video to set the mood.
