Girli has shared her new track Be With Me which features on her upcoming album Matriarchy. The album will land in May ahead of a run of UK tour dates including a Manchester gig.
Girli will headline at Manchester Academy 2 in June. The Manchester gig is one of seven UK and Ireland dates she will play across May and June 2024.
Latest single Be With Me lands after the release of her previous releases Northing Hurts Like A Girl and the album’s title track.
Be With Me finds Girli trawling through previous relationships, contrasting them with the bliss of a contented partnership with herself, finding contenting through self-understanding. As she explains, “Be With Me is about how being in a relationship with yourself is the best relationship ever because there’s no strings attached, no jealousy, no lovers turned to enemies, no bad blood; the best chemistry and butterflies are with yourself when you learn to love you.”
Girli will release her sophomore album Matriarchy on 17 May 2024.
