The Gaslight Anthem has announced a run of shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of their second studio album The ’59 Sound, including a Manchester gig at the O2 Apollo.

The New Jersey-based rock band will perform the album, in its entirety, at venues across Europe and North America from May until August, including four shows in the UK and Ireland.

Earning staggering reviews around the world, The ’59 Sound was released on 19 August 2008 through SideOneDummy Records and saw The Gaslight Anthem break out as one of the most exciting bands around.

The Gaslight Anthem’s fifth and final studio album, Get Hurt, made top 5 chart debuts in both the UK and US upon its August 2014 release via Island Records. The band made its last live appearance at the Reading and Leeds Festival on 30 August 2015.

The Gaslight Anthem headlines at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on 25 July 2018.  The Manchester gig is one of four UK and Ireland dates announced:

Tickets for The Gaslight Anthem performing at Manchester’s O2 Apollo go on general sale on 2 February.  A fan presale opens on 30 January.
