Editors have announced a run of UK tour dates including a Liverpool gig at the O2 Academy. The gig in Liverpool is one of six UK dates they have announced.
The tour will open at Newcastle’s NX and culminate in a gig at Southampton’s O2 Guildhall.
The tour will find Editors playing tracks from their acclaimed seventh studio album EBM as well as their back catalogue.
Nine-track album EBM is the band’s first with latest band member Benjamin John Power, aka Ivor Novello winning producer and composer Blanck Mass. The album title marks an acronym of Editors and Blanck Mass and a reference to Electronic Body Music, the 80s sound which has influenced Editors’ new material.
The new dates follow Editors European tour earlier this year, which included 7 shows in the UK and Ireland.
