Cassadee Pope has shared the video for the track Let Me Go from the acoustic album Rise and Shine released worldwide last month.
The Grammy-nominated, Platinum-certified artist premiered the video yesterday on CMT and declared, “I wanted the video for ‘Let Me Go’ to really capture the essence of the song. It’s emotional and raw and came from a place of wanting freedom.” The video marks the first in a series of performance videos from the album.
Rise and Shine was produced by Cassadee Pope with Todd Lombardo attracting huge acclaim. The album was written by Cassadee Pope alongwide the likes of Butch Walker and Emily Weisband and also features guest vocals from Sam Palladio on the track California Dreaming.
Pope will also release a new version of the album’s title track Rise and Shine, remixed by producer and Grammy-winner Dave Aude. The single will receive its first exclusive world play on BBC Radio 2 on 8 October by Bob Harris before being available to stream and download on Friday 9 October. Speaking about working with Aude, Cassadee Pope said, “The remix really took this song to the next level. I feel like the emotion has been taken up a notch with the thunderous rhythm sounds and the overall anthemic vibe. It’s been really special to see this song take on a whole new life!”
Cassadee Pope is set to hit hte UK in 2021 to perform at The Long Road festival in September and is one of the first artists announced alongside Brandy Clark, The Adelaides, Sarah Darling, Jess Thristan and more.
