Arctic Monkeys have shared their new 10 track album The Car, their seventh studio album.  The album follows the recent announcement of their huge UK and Ireland tour in 2023.

As part of their UK tour, Arctic Monkeys will headline two Manchester gigs at Emirates Old Trafford.  They will be supported by The Hives and The Mysterines.

The Car features ten new songs written by Alex Turner.  James Ford has produced the album which was recorded at Butley Priory, Suffolk, RAK Studios, London and La Frette, Paris.


The Hives to support Arctic Monkeys on UK and Ireland tour


In support of the album Arctic Monkeys will perform an exclusive live stream from Kings Theatre, Brooklyn, premiering on YouTube on Sunday 23 October at 8pm BST.  The performance was directed by Ben Chappell and Zackery Michael.

The Car features previously released single Body Paint.
