The Hives will support Arctic Monkeys on their recently announced UK and Ireland stadium tour.
The run of dates is set to include a Manchester gig at Emirates Old Trafford. They will also be joined on the tour by The Mysterines.
The tour finds The Hives and Arctic Monkeys reuniting again following their shows together back in 2019.
The Hives frontman Pelle Almqvist said of the news, “Way back in history, a bunch of young kids saw The Hives in their hometown, Sheffield. They then formed a band called the Arctic Monkeys, currently the only good European stadium size rock band in existence and The Hives are still exactly where they are, doing what they are doing, because The Hives are eternal. The two bands will now tour the UK together and everyone will live happily ever after.”
