Alan Fletcher has released his full length debut album The Point ahead of a string of UK tour dates.

The actor (best known for his role as Karl Kennedy in Neighbours) and Americana singer-songwriter drew influencer from singer-songwriters such as John Prine and Guy Clark for the album.  It follows on from the release of his EP Dispatches last year.

The Point – which also features album producers and multi-instrumentalists Damian Cafarella and Lachlan Bryan, Luke Moller on fiddle, and Jennifer Hansen providing duet vocals on ‘Somebody’ – was recorded at End Of The Road Studio in Melbourne.

Alan Fletcher has released the 11-track album in the run up to a string of UK tour dates which include a gig at The Met in Bury.
