The award-winning Forced Entertainment return to Home Manchester alongside Real Magic with latest production Out of Order.

A troupe of hapless clowns sit huddled round a table, waiting for trouble to start, like friends divided or deadlocked politicians. There are old gags that escalate and new ones that backfire. Music, sweat and bright lights. Blank faces, double takes and bright ideas. For a moment it might look like peace, but soon it’s mayhem again.

Accompanied by a heavy musical score, Out Of Order follows Forced Entertainment’s reputation of bringing a world of absurd disconnection, struggle and comical repetition.  The production veers from funny to unfunny; comical to tragic.

The production sees regular Forced Entertainment performers and founder members Robin Arthur, Nicki Hobday, Jerry Killick, Richard Lowdon, Cathy Naden and Terry O’Connor giving what promises to be their most physical performance ever.  There is no spoken word in Out Of Order which features repetitive music and movement.

When does Out Of Order run at HOME Manchester?

Out Of Order runs at HOME Manchester from 13-15 November 2019.  Tickets £10-£17.50 (concessions from £5).
