Theatre company Figs in Wigs are returning to HOME Manchester to present the live art feminist adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women.

The production, Little Wimmin, examines how the past is thought of, what’s wrong with the present, and what we’re going to do about the future … and even … whether there is really a future.

Figs in Wigs dismantle and transform Alcott’s 1868 classic into an unrecognisable cosmic catastrophe looking at climate change, astrology and the infinite nature of the universe.

Expect puns, bad jokes and pop culture references as Little Wimmin retells Little Women as never expected – punky, funky and even clunky.

When does Little Wimmin run at HOME Manchester?

Little Wimmin runs at Home Manchester from 5 March – 14 March 2020.  Tickets priced £12.50 (concessions from £5).  The production has been commissioned by HOME Manchester.
