Jim Jones All Stars announce new live album | Manchester gig in October
Jim Jones All Stars have announced their new live album Get Down ~ With It – Jim Jones All Stars (Live), set for release on Friday 24 October 2025 via Assai Records. The album lands just weeks after a Manchester gig at the Deaf Institute. They will also headline a gig at Liverpool’s The Cavern.
Recorded at shows between 2023 and 2025, the album documents the band’s fiery live sound — a collision of Little Richard’s rock and roll energy with the raw force of the MC5 and The Stooges. Mixed by Jim Jones and mastered by Nick Page at Forking Paths Mastering in Los Angeles, the record captures the group at their most visceral and uncompromising.
Speaking about the release, frontman Jim Jones said: “‘Get Down ~ Get With It’ is a bookend of where the band is at right now and it’s a cool way to mark the end of this chapter of the band before we release our sophomore album in 2026.”
The 16-track set includes live favourites such as Cement Mixer, Burning Your House Down, Gimme The Grease, Soul Trader, Lover’s Prayer, and Rock N Roll Psychosis.
Coinciding with the release, Jim Jones All Stars will play a UK tour this October, including Manchester’s Deaf Institute and an album launch show at The Lexington in London.
