Silcock’s Winter Wonderland Manchester will host a string of performances of the specially created mini-pantomime Wizard of Oz this Christmas.
The show will be performed at each daily session as part of the spectacular being held at EventCity.
The Wizard of Oz is the latest addition to the programme of events at Winter Wonderland. Visitors will be able to join Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion on their adventures in Oz.
Silcock’s Winter Wonderland returns to Manchester for the first time in four years. The Christmas spectacle had previously run from 2013-2017.
Winter Wonderland will feature more than 50 family rides and attractions including roller coasters, waltzers, a runaway train, inflatables, dodgems, beach and baby chill out zone.
The programme of events at Winter Wonderland features the mini pantomime as well as a string of theatrical shows featuring Daisy and Ollie, the Ice Princess Show and Christmas Meltdown as well as the return of the Christmas Circus.
Winter Wonderland also includes a visit from Santa and his reindeer each day as well as games stalls, festive foods and an authentic German Bar.
As a special ‘thank you’ for all their hard work during the pandemic, there will be reduced ticket prices for members of the NHS, Blue Light Card Holders as well as other services, see website for further details.
Organisers have also confirmed the return of the Celebrity VIP Night as well as their annual Charity Night, which this year has been pre-arranged with targeted NHS and mental health charities.
