Tyler Booth has shared his new track Real Real Country ahead of an appearance at C2C Festival in March.
Real Real Country finds Tyler Booth embracing modern country, traditional country and even hip-hop. As he explains, “When I wrote ‘Real Real Country’ I was really just having fun with it and not putting too much pressure on myself as a songwriter,” Booth said. “To me this song bridges a lot of things – modern country to traditional country, and even country music to a little bit of hip-hop. I had a lot of fun experimenting with different kinds of music and seeing where I could land that thing and still be true to myself. I’m really proud of this song because I wrote it by myself, and I think it really reflects who I am as an artist and where I’m heading.”
The track marks the Kentucky native’s first new music of the year. It follows last year’s cover of Post Malone’s Feeling Whitney and his own track Hey Dad.
Tyler Booth released his debut EP Grab the Reins in 2021. After recently sharing stages with artists such as Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi and Brooks and Dunn, Booth is currently on his first-ever headline tour, the “Country Gang” tour.
