Denver trio The Velveteers have announced a run of UK tour dates and will co-headline a Manchester gig at Retro with The Pearl Harts.
The news comes as The Velveteers build up to the release of new music and reveal a cover of T.Rex’s Lean Woman Blues.
Lead by guitarist and vocalist Demi Demitro and two drummers, The Velveteers bring punk spirit with aggression and grunge. They layer fuzzed guitar riffs on thunderous doubled-up drums.
The Velveteers released their self-titled debut EP in 2018 and have spent much of their time on the road with the likes of Julian Casablancas and The Voidz, Deap Vally, Chicano Batman and CFM.
